LOSS (AND REINSTATEMENT) OF AMATEUR STATUS THROUGH AN ACT OF PROFESSIONALISM. |

10.1. |
Questions under this heading shall be dealt with by Council, who shall be guided by the following general principles; |

10.1.1. |
A professional by qualification may never be reinstated to amateur status. |
|
10.1.2. |
A professional by declaration or a student to the profession may be reinstated only to full Championship status, once only, subject to a minimum period of one years suspension from the date of application for reinstatement. |

10.2. |
The date of application in all cases shall be determined by the date of the postmark of a mailed letter, or the date of delivery, if delivered by hand. |

10.3. |
The findings of the Council shall be reported to the All-Ireland Board of Ballroom Dancing. |
