LOSS (AND REINSTATEMENT) OF AMATEUR STATUS THROUGH AN ACT OF PROFESSIONALISM.

10.1.

Questions under this heading shall be dealt with by Council, who shall be guided by the following general principles;

10.1.1.

A professional by qualification may never be reinstated to amateur status.

10.1.2.

A professional by declaration or a student to the profession may be reinstated only to full Championship status, once only, subject to a minimum period of one years suspension from the date of application for reinstatement.

10.2.

The date of application in all cases shall be determined by the date of the postmark of a mailed letter, or the date of delivery, if delivered by hand.

10.3.

The findings of the Council shall be reported to the All-Ireland Board of Ballroom Dancing.
