1.	TITLE
1.1.	The Federation shall be entitled "The Irish Dance Sport Federation" hereafter referred to as "the Federation"
2.	AIMS
	The aims of the Federation shall be the;
2.1.	Promotion, encouragement and improvement of Sport Dancing in its various forms.
2.2.	Protection of the interests of Sport Dancers.
2.3.	Regulation and governing of questions affecting amateur status.
2.4.	Regulation and governing of Sport Dance competitions and championships.
2.5.	Sanctioning and promotion of Sport Dance competitions.
2.6.	Protection and governing of titles of Sport Dance trophies and championships.
2.7.	Registration of competitors in Sport Dance.
