On Line Entries
Irish Dancesport Federation wishes to announce the introduction of
on-line entries for competitors.
We would hasten, however, to assure competitors, teachers and
parents that we will continue to accept entries
by phone or email in the normal way.
The on-line entry system may only be used by those who are
registered competitors with Irish Dancesport
Federation. It is very easy to use so please
give it a try.
In order to submit an on-line entry, a competitor must know the reg.
nos. of both partners. You will find these
numbers on your registration/membership card.
Parents should note that the system will also
accommodate under-8 solo competitors.
The next step is to select ‘Event Guide’ on our website and
scroll down to the competition in question.
Click the ‘on-line entries’ button and this will open a new
page where you must enter the reg. nos. of both
partners (unless you are an under-8 solo
competitor)
Click the ‘Submit’ button and if the reg. nos. are correct
the names of both partners should appear on
screen along with a list of all the events. It
is then a matter a clicking on the tick boxes to
select the events in which you are entitled to
compete. Please take care to ensure you select
the correct events and note that you may untick
a box by clicking on it a second time. (Under 8
solo competitors will only be shown the solo
events)
When you are satisfied with your selection click the ‘Confirm’
button. You will then be given a reference no.
and a password in case you wish to amend or
cancel your
entry.. We would urge competitors
to cancel their entries if they know they will be
unable to attend the competition.
Troubleshooting:
If, having submitted your reg. nos., the names which appear on
screen are incorrect click the ‘Cancel’
button, check your reg. nos. and try again. If
the names are still incorrect, it means that our
database is incorrect so please report the
matter to
tmr@gofree.indigo.ie
and submit your entry by email at the same time.
If, having submitted your reg. nos., you get a message saying ‘reg.
nos. not found’ it means you are not on our
database so please report the matter to
tmr@gofree.indigo.ie
and submit your entry by email at the same time.
