All Ireland Championships 2008.

A number of substantial changes have been made to our All Ireland programme as follows:

1. In the Closed events for Juvenile and Junior Beginners, the age groups have been split into Juvenile 1, Juvenile 2, Junior 1 and Junior 2. It was felt that this was a fairer way of running these events rather than having A-Finals and B-Finals. Full details are contained in the Events list.

2. There are now two inter schools team matches – one for Juniors and one for Juveniles to be held in Sessions 1 and 3. The events list has full details.

3. The Old Time adult events have been changed from Session 1 to Session 2.

4. Conditions under which non-members of IDSF may compete in the All Ireland and other events have been clarified. See ‘Irish DSF Rule Changes’ in the Discussion page.
